About The Launching Pad

Welcome to The Launching Pad- a Braves blog as satisfying as a chili-slaw dog and a Frosted Orange. If you’re here for the first time, this post may help you know if you’ve come to the right place.

JB is a lifelong Braves fan who grew up in Atlanta where his earliest memories were made at the “Launching Pad” watching his heroes play the game he loves.

Braves fans who love to talk about, write about, live, eat, drink, breathe, Braves baseball all year long will find a happy home here.

An avid scorekeeper and Braves memorabilia collector, JB hopes you’ll find The Launching Pad a place where you can share your love of the Braves through the good times and the bad.

  • Hey there JB in ATL. I LOVE THE SITE! Way to go on the logo thing BH! I love the braves. They are one of my most favorite things in the world. So favorite in fact that I decorated my kitchen braves, and named my cat after Dale Murphy and plan on naming the next one Jones.

  • Just a ‘Howdy’, JB! Nice site y’all have here!

  • Thanks for adding me to the roll. I’m new to blogging, but I really like meeting some of my fellow Braves fans. I’ll try to hit you up on my next trip to Atlanta.

  • Bravesooner,
I’ll make sure you get some tickets any time you come to Atlanta for a Braves game.

For someone new to bloggin’ I think your site has some great content on it. Just keep it fresh and keep the posts comin’ and I’ll keep hanging around.

Thanks again and I hope we’ll see a lot more you at the Launching Pad.

  • As a Mets fan, I must hate everything you do…but you make it so damn hard!

  • I like the Braves okay, but they can’t compare to the New York Giants.

  • This site is great! I DEMAND EVERYBODY TO LISTEN TO HOUSE OF BRAVES TALK AS WELL!!!

  • Great site . . . . I am a Phils fan, but the Braves are my back-up team. I am glad to see that Mr. Outfield assist is back in right field for you.
