~JB, Still Choppin’ Y’all.
So with a day of rest, this good blogger is here tonight to share with you the wonderful “stuff” I’ve come across this month that I must share with you.
First up. Something a Launching Pad reader sent my way that had me in stitches. The Batting Stance Guy. Check out his reincarnations of famous Braves hitters. I think he nailed them pretty well.
Next up is a new Braves podcast I’ve been enjoying. House of the Braves Talk is one of the better podcasts I’ve listened to in a long time. These guys put together a great show and I’m planning on listening every week. I hope you will too.
I also stocked up on some more of retro gear that I’ve been wearing at any occasion I can. In this pic you’ll notice my circa 1938 all wool Atlanta Crackers cap.

I’ve also got my throw back Atlanta Braves T Shirt that features a retired logo that dates back to the Milwaukee days that I love.
Those are the Braves I grew up with and it is THE most comfortable shirt I own. Both of these items I picked up at Distant Replays which is my favorite store to shop at.
Well there’s one last item to share. I got this in June as well.
No it’s not for me and I know this is from an earlier post but in case you missed it, the JB family will be bringing another Braves fan into the world. I found out on my birthday this June that we’ll be welcoming the little one into our lives in February.

Here I was, all ready to trump your memorabilia post with a shout-out to my very own Braves tattoo, and you go & pull the Spawn card, JB! Nicely done! LOL
Congratulations to you & The Mrs., my friend. I wish you the best of luck…..and, as the mother of a 10-year-old boy, you’ll need all the luck you can get

JB, love the old-school gear you showed here. Great stuff. And major congrats on the little one on the way. Gotta stock up on lil’ Braves gear … and diapers.

You have a Braves tatt? Got any pic’s? I can’t say I’ve never thought about it but I’m tattoo free at the moment.
Thanks for the Congrats, people. We’re thrilled and boy or girl I hope there will be a lot love for the Braves from our child.
