Road Bloggin’ From the Windy City

Comin’ at ya live from the top of Sears Tower.

That’s right! I’m here in Chicago and moments away from seeing the Boys take on the Cubbies for game three.

It was an early flight so I’ve been up since 4am.

Thanks to my blackberry (not yet a 3G iPhone) I can keep you updated.

I’ll have pics and hopefully a winning post later today.

So from 1431 feet in the air, this is JB no longer in ATL.

Update…
I’ve seen three other Braves fans up here… make that 4… and gotten plenty of dirty looks too.

Go Braves!

  • 2nd inning under way and Jeff slams a 2 run shot! Welcome to wrigley, JB

  • Re: Dirty Looks

    Cubs fans are the worst.

  • Well hopefully u will find a few more Braves Fans that are Brave enough to admit it. I know that they, the cub fans, don’t mind hooping it up down here in Atl when they come into town. Plus we don’t usually give them a hard time either.

Jaq, bring us back lots of Pics and good stories but most of all bring us back at least a win!

  • Bottom 10 and you know the fans haven’t been too bad. Just hate seeing how crummy the pen has been lately.here comes Acosta

  • Well, another one lost even though the Braves lead the entire 9 innings. Quite a outcome we’ve had on these road games. 21 games with the one run game loss. We need to end this ending!

JB we hope you had fun in Chicago. Have a good trip home,

  • I had a great time. The loss was a little… Ok a lot of frustrating. But getting to see the Braves at wrigley was a rare treat. Just finished my Chicago style pizza and about to head home.

  • Good thing Soriano is out for a while . . .

  • Yes but Soriano’s absence didn’t make much of a difference and we could’ve used our Soriano yesterday.

  • That game made me absolutely ill. I had to turn it off after the ninth. I hope they do a better job in Anaheim. Will be at the game tomorrow night.

Hope it was an awesome trip JB.

    BH in LA

  • Yes I’d have to say I didn’t leave Wrigley with a good taste in my mouth in terms of the game.

But I had a great time and there’s really nothing quite like a day game at Wrigley. We really should’ve had a “W” for Braves “Win” but alas…

  • [...] a win tonight. Two series wins on the road? How the sweet the sound. Then we can forget all about Chicago and even that miserable series at home with the Philistines and move on to kicking the Mariners [...]
